 Angela Headley
Angela has been working in the field of art for 30 years as an artist, teacher, designer, consultant and gallery owner. Her gallery in Hanapepe, Kauai, features her own paintings and three dimensional works by other local artists.
While working in the Santa Cruz, California, School District, Angela helped develop learning assistance programs through art. As a founding member and Vice-President of the Capitola Arts Commission, Angela initiated various art programs for the community, including "Art in Public Places," youth scholarship programs, and the "Twilight Concert Series."
In addition to painting and exhibiting in the continental United States and the Hawaiian Islands, Angela has studied and painted in France, Italy, Mexico, Fiji, and Tahiti.
The main focus of her work has been experiencing the people, their cultures and traditions, and expressing that in her painting.
Angela's work has been in many solo and group juried exhibits, and is in private collections worldwide.
