Artist's Statement
"At one time or another, all of us have experienced a paralyzing fear that prevented us from moving forward with our lives. Fear of failure and fear of ridicule can be a prison which we create for ourselves. The exhilaration of Breaking Free of the bonds that stifle our creativity is what the BREAKING FREE SERIES explores. Horses on the run are powerful reminders of that adrenaline rush of freedom we feel when breaking through barriers that hold us back from our true potential. It is never too late to find that power within us to Break Free."
This statement still captures my approach to life.... Don't fear failure because there is something to learn in every attempt. If you find yourself in the midst of constant criticism find a new environment of people and situations that are supportive.... You deserve better.
At my website I have included the newest Plein Air, Impressionist oils and acrylics that I am currently working on... Subjects range from the beaches of Hawaii, flowers, landscapes and still life. This is my attempt to continue to grow as an artist.
