L. Diane Johnson
Plein-air painter, L Diane Johnson works to capture the beauty and intimacy of the land providing a personal visual respite from the pressures of daily life. Johnson's paintings authentically portray real locations and moments in time, and have proven to be a favorite in art collections worldwide.
With a 30 year background in fine art, in tandem with her corporate graphic design and illustration company, Johnson has built a solid art career. Johnson is a sought-after plein-air instructor in the U.S. and Europe. She is a full member of the Pastel Society of America, the International Acrylic Painters Society, National Acrylic Painters' Association, U.K. and the founding editor of Plein Air Magazine. In 2000, Johnson was invited to participate in the first ever White House Conference on Culture and Diplomacy. Her work can be obtained through gallery partners and her studio.
