Categories of PAPOH Membership:

An artist may join as an artist member. A non-artist who wishes to join PAPOH may join as patron member. Signature membership: we are not accepting applications for signature membership at this time.

Artist Membership Requirements:

Artist members may be painters of any type. They do not need to be plein air painters (although we will try to convert you).

To become an artist member you must submit:

• A completed application.
• Short resume or bio (may be used in our organizing efforts).
• Check or money order payable to Plein Air Painters of Hawaii for the amount of:
  
  • $60.00. This includes:
    Annual dues of $35.00.
    One time set-up fee is $25.00; this is to help cover start up costs.
    
    - OR -
    
    
  • $85.00. This includes:
    Annual dues of $35.00, plus:
    An annual fee of $25.00, if you have or want a PAPOH webpage. For more details, click here.
    A one time set-up fee of $25.00; this is to help cover start up costs.

Patron Membership Requirements:

Individual Patron: $50.00
Family Patron: $100.00
Corporate Patron: $250.00 and up.

To become a patron member please submit:

• A completed application.
• Check or money order payable to Plein Air Painters of Hawaii.

Membership Benefits for Signature and Artist Members:

• Sales of artwork through PAPOH exhibitions.
• Career benefits.
• Publicity, including magazine articles, etc.
• PAPOH exhibition award winners announced in magazines.
• Networking with other Plein Air organizations and other art organizations.
• Optional: one page on the website and a link from our website to your personal website if you have one (click here for directions on how to get this webpage up as soon as you apply!).

Membership Benefits for All Members:

• Discounts on supplies.
• Discounts on PAPOH sponsored workshops.
• Newsletters.
• Public relations.
